Date: September 20, 2009. Today we did our 2 hour acclimitization hike and are currently resting back at camp. We went from 14,000 ft to 15,500 ft. We are not trying to get a few hours sleep and at midnight we are going to the summit to 19,400 ft which will no doubt be the most challenging part of our trip. (this message was relayed via sat phone to Alex at 10am EST).
I am so proud of all of you. A special shut out to my brother in law Don Depratto from Ontario. Go For It!!! Love Joceline and family.

Well kids, by our count you're either on the top or or heading back down. We sure hope all went well - what you've been through already is nothing short of amazing. We're certainly looking forward to the next Blog posting. All the best - Dick & Briony Reid
